Intensive Day #7

Well, it's the second day of the second week...in OT Emmalin did well.  In speech Emmalin actually decided to participate (thank goodness), but her PT session was hard today.   Emmalin started the PT session out normal (by lifting weights with her legs in the cage), but then went to a machine that was like a leg press and worked on it for the first time.  After doing that (which she did well), her legs were pretty weak.  It was then time for Emmalin to walk up and down the hall (which was a little hard for her to do).  After her walking, she did her standing (which her dad got to FaceTime for and Emmalin LOVED it), and then Emmalin got to ride a bike.  Of course out of the entire day, that's the one time I didn't have my phone on me...she road outside a little too.  While we were out there Emmalin had a seizure (it's her first seizure to have during on of the therapy sessions).  Thank goodness the seizure wasn't one that wipes her out, so she recovered pretty quickly!!  Once we got done riding her bike, Emmalin had to do a little short distant walking.  She was WIPED out by the end.  I'm sure having that seizure didn't help any!  All in all, it was a great day!  I'm hoping for no seizures during therapy tomorrow!!
